3 Chinese Fashion Brands You Should Know About

As we all know Chinese consumers love to shop and hunt for deals. Even as the market changes and evolves Chinese consumers will still be some of the most savvy and sophisticated around the world.

According to a report released by the Industrial Research Institute Chinese women, in China, between the ages of 31-35 have the greatest amount of spend out of any demographic and by 2020 China's women's wear market is expected to exceed one trillion RMB, making this a huge opportunity for both domestic and international brands. Today we will be bringing you three retail brands leading the way in China's domestic retail market.

1. JNBY

JNBY is a leading designer apparel brand founded in 1994. JNBY has more than 500 stores in China and an estimated annual sales of €410 MM in 2014. JNBY carries apparel, shoes, bags, scarves, and recently launched their eye-wear products on Tmall.


2. Mo&Co.

Mo&Co. is a leading Chinese fashion brand founded in 2004. Mo&Co. targets women between the ages of 20-35 and has over 600 retail locations worldwide. Their WeChat account has roughly 230,000 followers and their average post views are around 20,000. 


3. Marisfrolg

Marisfrolg is a leading high-end apparel brand from Shenzhen in southern China. They target fashion forward women between the ages of 30-50 years old. Marisfrolg has plans to go global and regards Asia as its first step, with a presence in Singapore, Korea and Macao (300 retail locations).
