Background

The client is a prestige luxury and high-end retail corporation. They had a new global partnership of a sunglasses brand with another luxury group. In China, the client wanted to introduce this partnership and build trust with customers after having acquired the brand. SmithStreet assisted them in developing business plan to elaborate how they will run this business over the next few years


Solutions

•    Evaluate how large and how competitive the market is for luxury sunglasses

•    Identifiy target consumers across city tier and understand their needs, expectations and recommendations in new product category 

•    Understand key customers’ requirements, comments and expectations, and analyzed the implications for the client

•    Validate and prioritize city tier as well as channels the client should explore after acquiring

•    Map out the optimal cooperation model (i.e. cost split, logistic, after-sales services, team supports, etc.) with existing and new customers
