Chinese Business Partners - Selection and Successful Cooperation

We are pleased to invite you to a round-table meeting on Thursday 29 August with the theme Chinese Business Partners – Selection and Successful Cooperation. The meeting will take place at the premises of Danish-Chinese Business Forum in Copenhagen.
Engaging in partnerships with Chinese companies and institutions can be rewarding for many foreign companies operating in China. A range of pitfalls however exist in this area, that are likely to result in unsuccessful cooperation if not handled carefully.
Anders Paulsson, partner at Shanghai-based consulting firm SmithStreetSolutions will open this meeting. He will present his views on how to identify potential partners in China and flowingly conduct thorough due-diligence to ensure in-depth understanding of the entity you are considering partnering up with, as well as their strategy, objectives and motivations behind engaging in partnership with your company.
Subsequently, independent advisor and former executive in China, Tue Tyge Møller, will share his knowledge on how to achieve success in joint ventures and other established Chinese partnerships. Careful partner selection and due-diligence is a prerequisite for successful cooperation, but appropriate management of the continuous dialogue and cooperation is naturally of equal importance.
